Angie Abdou is an award-winning author with a Ph.D. in Creative Writing. She has facilitated workshops throughout Canada and has over twenty years of teaching experience.  Her first novel The Bone Cage was the inaugural One Book One Kootenay selection, a CBC Canada Reads 2011 finalist, and the 2012 MacEwan Book of the Year. Her second novel, The Canterbury Trail, was a finalist for the Banff Mountain Book of the Year 2012 and won an IPPY gold medal for Canada West.  Her fourth book, a novel about foreign nannies and hot yoga, is forthcoming in September 2014. She lives in Fernie with her husband and two children.

Angie Abdou

Andy SinclairAndy Sinclair has been practising yoga for thirteen years and is a graduate of The Yoga Sanctuary's Evolving Spirit 250-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Toronto. He has experience teaching Ashtanga, Hatha and Restorative yoga classes, both privately and in studios. He presently focuses on gentle and safe exploration through an alignment-based Hatha practice. No yoga experience is necessary for this type of practice.

Andy grew up in North Bay, Ontario. His writing has appeared in fab, The Moose & Pussy, The Globe and Mail, The United Church Observer, Dragnet Magazine and Jonathan. He has performed at many readings including Toronto's Emerging Writers' Series and taught creative writing at Five Oaks Retreat Centre in Paris, Ontario.
